Greenwood, SC

The Greenwood Cancer Fund provides support to cancer patients through financial assistance with prescription costs, treatment supply costs, travel costs, and other costs related to the patient’s treatment. Greenwood Cancer Fund serves an average of 40 people at a time.

Anderson, SC

The Cancer Association of Anderson hosts several support groups for cancer patients and provides an 8-week Oncology Rehabilitation program at AnMed Health’s Life Choice Gym. During this program, patients exercise under supervision of nurses and exercise physiologists, then take a class on survivorship subjects such as nutrition, dealing with stress and depression, and fighting fatigue.

Greenville County, SC

The Cancer Society of Greenville County is a local agency helping local people by providing financial support to cancer patients and their families, high-impact education as well as counseling services. The agency creates an environment that accelerates healing and hope.

South Carolina

Breast and cervical cancer screening at no cost for South Carolina women who qualify. (qualifications listed on website)

Covered services include but are not limited to —

• Clinical breast examinations.

• Mammograms.

• Pap tests.

• Pelvic examinations.

• Human papillomavirus (HPV) tests.

• Diagnostic testing if results are abnormal.

• Referrals to treatment
