The Cancer Association of Anderson hosts several support groups for cancer patients and provides an 8-week Oncology Rehabilitation program at AnMed Health’s Life Choice Gym. During this program, patients exercise under supervision of nurses and exercise physiologists, then take a class on survivorship subjects such as nutrition, dealing with stress and depression, and fighting fatigue.
